Hello, this is new for me…
Being a small business owner, I’ve learned to become systemised, structured, disciplined, calculating and success driven but who I am at my core feels a little different to that. Grinding away in the big smoke has had its advantages and while I’m proud of how far I’ve come, going back to my roots has shown me what I really want out of this life.
During covid I reconnected deeply with my country upbringing; I started riding again, spending every weekend I could at our family farm and it wasn’t long until I realised that success to me is a little slice of land to call mine and sunset rides, everyday.
Everything that I’ve created online over the last several years has been to serve my business. A way to generate leads, grow the brand, hustle for new clients - and if I’m being honest, i’ve grown a little weary of it.
I’ve wondered how I can show up more uniquely as myself and have pondered ways I can show more of what I love most - even though I’ve put glimpses of my adoration for the west online, I’ve felt like I could do so much more with it.
This for me, is going to be a place where I can share western musings - for those who love horses, western and prairie inspired fashion and old country music. Kind of like a creative escape, I suppose. Because I’ve worked so relentlessly hard on my business, I’m at a stage where I have a little more time to try something new.
Here, you will find wardrobe pieces I’m lusting over, tunes I’m listening to, travel guides and recommendations, western films, books and documentaries - plus, the odd musing or two.
Right now, I don’t expect to monetise this - it’s simply something for me to creatively pour myself into. So I can post and share the things I love with purpose, hoping to build a community of souls who daydream about the same simple pleasures as me.
Thanks for being here and subscribe to stay up to date - I promise it’ll be worth it.
